As the holidays approach, we find ourselves in the season of giving. This December Keystone Shops is partnering with Women Against Abuse and their Adopt-A-Family campaign for the second year in a row. The Adopt-A-Family program allows us to take on a family’s holiday wishlist and purchase their gifts for them, helping to make their holidays a little easier and filled with family time.

Keystone Shops will be accepting donations, both in money and in gifts, for a family of five; a single mother raising four children, trying to make the holidays special for her family. All gifts must be new and unwrapped (but you can gift wrapping paper!), and you can find the family’s holiday wishlist here. Gifts and donations for this specific part of our charity of the month must be dropped off by December 10.

Women Against Abuse, the organization hosting the Adopt-A-Family campaign, is a Philadelphia based, non-profit organization that provides safe havens, legal centers, transitional housing, and financial assistance to individuals and families that are victims of domestic violence. The organization also provides a domestic violence hotline and community education and training on how to effectively intervene in situations of abuse and unhealthy relationships. Women Against Abuse aims to end domestic violence through our community and throughout the country. Throughout December, you can make donations to Women Against Abuse in our dispensaries charity jars.
