Job Description:

This position requires a motivated, tech-savvy individual who has a strong desire to grow their accounting career, but is also willing to manage administrative office duties.  The Accounting/Administrative Assistant will work closely and be assigned various tasks by upper management, process accounts payable invoices, and be trained in various other accounting functions. We are looking for an individual who is efficient and comfortable being a member of a team, someone who wants to learn, and has a desire to take their career to the next level. The ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem solver, and organized. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position.



  • Manage workflow and tasks assigned by upper management, ensuring that deadlines are met and work is completed correctly.
  • Implement and monitor programs as directed by management, and see the programs through to completion.
  • Process accounts payable invoices for payment.
  • Print accounts payables check. 
  • Post bank transactions into the general ledger. 
  • Post sales in Quickbooks daily.
  • Assist in the monthly closing process. 
  • Generate memos, emails, and reports when appropriate.
  • Assume responsibility for maintenance of office equipment, including computers, copy machines, and fax machines.
  • Maintain office supplies by checking inventory and ordering items.
  • Respond to questions and requests for information.
  • Supporting the Executive Team as well as the Accounting & Finance Manager.
  • Answer incoming calls and assume other receptionist duties when needed.



  • Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • Prior bookkeeping experience is a plus. 
  • 1+ year of Quickbooks experience preferred.
  • 1 year of startup experience is preferred.
  • 1 year of Google Suite experience is preferred.
